I think this would be a really good template for our homepage. I know the banner shows call of duty but we could have Whit3y make a sick ass banner for the homepage and we could customize it how ever we want it. However if we use a template of some sort I dont understand how we can incorporate php stuff like having a top5 post count or like a shot box since those are made in php.

It is in the code if im not mistaken. You have to set it so it uses the Address of www.dc-forums.com to go to a dc-forums/******* It is just a matter of putting it in the Address code, Which i'm not sure where it is. Mabey Mcbooty does =P
Yea, I know how to do it. I tried to start us off having a homepage but I couldn't get it to work properly. But yes, it is in the FTP on the server side. I am just worried about getting the forums to match. that is my only concern with this

Well shit I thought I put the files in a zip file but maybe I forgot to post it. Anyway I already deleted the cod image and I already messed with most of the links, but Whit3y I definitely wouldnt mind if you would look over those links and make sure they are properly done. Also if you need the cod image to get an idea of what size it was I can alway give it to you later.
I do have an idea though for the image. I think that the banner should incorporate some of the games that we play. I think it should be a mix of cs or cs cz or cs source, TF2, Eve and maybe O game. I actually plan on reinstalling DOD in the next few days so we could even put that up maybe.

Cool, the links are fine, the only thing you really had to do to check them was to click them . Also, for the members thing thats already in there, i think we can just change the text to say the users name and instead of doing the normal member list thing, we can do "elite members" or something with just us people that have been here the longest. For the pic if all else fails we could resize each persons avatar and me and mcbooty will probably have to make ours not an animation, but you never know maybe not.

I also wouldn't mind just having are actual picture and I do like the idea of having only people that have been here a long time on the homepage. I mean right now all of use have been here a long time but in the future I think it would work well. Well Whit3y if you have time can you start working on a banner. Also maybe at some point we can add an html page to each of the members from the homepage kind of like our last forums. The bad thing is I really liked how blackburn did it and that was not hard coding our profile instead he made like input boxes. Anyway we dont have to worry about that right now. However I dont think that login link on the homepage works the right way Whit3y.
Oh I almost forgot Mcbooty when you have time do you think you come up with short paragraph basically just stating who we used to be, who we are and what we do or something like that.

I forgot to look at the dc myspace. I'll have to take a look at it. Well since I already have my username and stuff saved so when I click log in and gives me an error saying I must be registered, but I still have the option of logging in. So basically I think is should just go to the login in page and let me login without the error message. Also Im not sure how this will work but once the homepage is the index how will it work with logging in. like on the forum page when u enter it is shows that Im already logged since I have it set to remember me.
LOL hopefully that all makes sense.

Im also playing with the code to make the menu headers a slight shade of each character on those sides (goldish/blueish/redish) But the right and left menus use the same CSS code so i need to make a whole seperate div for the right menu and make another div edit thingy in the CSS See? im learning installing and updating drivers photobucket

Im sorry to double post but Whit3y besides possibly lightening up the pyro weapon can maybe extend the banner to the right a little. It kind of hangs off to left. I resized it a little so the width was longer but the banner is black so u cant tell the difference. Forty Six & 2 Is Just Ahead Of Me
Yeah the point of the banner and blackground being black was that you couldnt tell the difference uhh i could try messing with the code to re position it.
And also its really not, or atleast it seems to me. I think it might seem that way because the text is on the left.
